Wataru Watari is the author and original creator of the Yahari Ore no Seishun Rabu Kome wa Machigatteiru series. His other works include Ayakashigatari(あやかしがたり) in 2009, and Yahari Ore no Seishun Rabukome wa Machigatte Iru - Mougenroku(やはり俺の青春ラブコメはまちがっているもうげんろく), illustrated by Kazuki Rechi, in 2012. The genres he writes include comedy, romance, school life, seinen and drama.
